Veterinary Receptionist
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us at Teilo vets.
Job type
- Part-time, Thursday and Friday including every 4th Saturday,
- Salary dependant on experience
- Welsh speaking an advantage, but not essential
Qualifications
- GCSE in English and Maths A-C
- IT skills essential,
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reception Duties, these include
- Liasing with clients and clinical staff to ensure effective customer services
- Booking appointments
- Taking payments
- Managing telephone enquires
- Updating patient histories and Client records
- Cleanliness of reception
- General Office admin when required

Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Teilo Vets is an Independent mixed practice where clinical independence is encouraged.
An opportunity for a motivated individual to join our small friendly team:-
- Full -time position available,
- 1 in 4 OOH rota,
- CPD is encouraged and supported, 2 days allowance and £500 per annum
- Competitive Salary,
- 33 days holidays,
- Days in lieu for weekend and Bank holiday and rota work. (2 days following 1st on call weekend, 1 day following 2nd on call weekend),
- RCVS Membership fees paid,
- Accommodation and vehicle provided,
- New graduates are fully supported and mentored.

Dairy/Beef
- Routine fertilities,
- Lameness,
- Mastitis,
- Young stock investigations,
- Herd health planning,
- Emergency work,
- Bull health and fertility,
- Pneumonia Investigations,
- Calving.
Sheep
- Flock health planning,
- Farm assurance,
- Ram fertility,
- Lambing,
- FEC work.
Companion Animal
This is a 1st Opinion Practice with encouragement to further develop clinical and surgical skills, to encourage you to become an all-round GP. Experience preferable but not essential.
